Plasu registration procedure

We wish to inform all newly admitted students of Plateau University, PLASU), Bokkos that the management of the University has released the registration procedure and payment method for the 2019/2020 academic session.

PLASU Registration Procedure.

All Candidates offered provisional admission into plateau State University are requested to accept the admission on the approved JAMB official website.

The fresh students registration exercise will commence on 25th February, 2020 and to end on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020.

PLASU Registration Procedures and how to make Payment.

Bank Branch 

  • Go to any Bank branch of your choice.
  • Give your payment receipt,  tell he/she that you want to generate remita for MDA to the Plateau State University, Bokkos) Platform

Internet Banking 

  • Go and login into your banks
  • Click ‘’remita payment’’
  • Then, select Plateau State Government’’
  • Input your MDA (i.e. Plateau State University, Bokkos) to pay
  •  select Acceptance Fee
  • Finally, Then submit payment successfully

Remita Collection Platform

  • Open your chrome or Firefox  browser type Plateau State Internal Revenue Service, visit to obtain a Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • You can access the e-collection platform via the link www.remita.net
  •  Move to “Pay State Government and Agencies” and
  • Select “Plateau State Government”
  • Input your MDA (i.e. Plateau State University, Bokkos) to pay
  •  As a the Name of service/purpose, select Acceptance Fee
  • Input your Tax Identification Number (TIN) and complete the remaining required fields
  • Submit to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
  • Then,  Click on any of the preferred payment options of card, internet or mobile banking, or visit any Bank branch with your RRR to make payment over the counter successfully.

  1. Acceptance fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) only are to be paid by newly admitted students,  after generating the RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) at a bank or online through any of the following channels :
  2. You are to go to Bursary Department with evidence of payment of acceptance fee and generate receipt/Authentication. PIN will be created by the Bursary as payment confirmation.
  3. logon to the University’s students’ portal through the website www.plasu.edu.ng where he or she input information of his or her biodata; and print out.
  4.  Acceptance fees screening and clearance:
    • Your JAMB UTME or DE Slip
    • WAEC Original O’Level Result/DE Entry qualification
    • Your Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age (original)
    • Indigene Certificate (original)
    • Two Passport Photographs
    • If your Waec original result not yet, he/she can provide a scratch card of the examination board to the screening officer to login to the portal of the examining board to enable print out the original copy of the result and stamp it as means of verification, and document it.
    • Completed students biodata form.
  5. After that you can go to the  Faculty where the Faculty Registration Officer checks and screens the document/qualifications for clearance.
  6. The candidate should can now proceed  to pay Tuition fees through any of the channels as in one (1) above. After being cleared by the Faculty Registration Officer,
  7. You are expected to presents their evidence of payment (RRR print outs) of all fees to the Bursary Department and obtains receipts/authentication (another PIN is generated for the candidate’s use) by the Bursary.
  8. Open your chrome or Firefox browser and type in their University portal to Log on to the University portal through the website for Course Registration using the new PIN and then print the completed course Registration Form.
  9.  Go to Academic Affairs Division of the Registry Department and submit photocopies of all credentials listed in (4) above, along with evidence of payment of tuition fees, Copies of Course registration form, Students Information form, Clearance Slip and two passport photographs for opening of file and assigning of Matriculation Reg No.
  10. Candidates names should be written in the registration Book by the Registration Officer
  11.  Students are to report to the  Affairs Directorate, to process his/her accommodation and obtain Students Handbook
  12. If you have been allocated accommodation, then follow the payment procedure as in one (1) above to pay the sum of ten thousand (₦10,000.00).
  13. Candidates are to Reports to the Security Division to process and collect his/her identity card.
  14. Reports to the University Library for documentation.
  15.  You can then proceeds to the University Health Services for documentation and opening of file after filing the Health Services Form which can be obtained from the students’ portal.
  16. Students who was Registered will have their matriculation Reg numbers on completion of the registration exercise
  17. Mistakes on registration process can not be resolved by the Registration Officer should be  channelled to the Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs Division, and subsequently to the Registrar.

PLASU Approved fees payable by fresh students is as follows:

  1. Plateau State Indigenes ₦40,000.00 ,excluding accommodation
  2. Non-Plateau candidates ₦90,000.00 ,excluding accommodation
